We are Hawaii’s leader in the publication printing market. Our Goss M600 5-color heatset web press, the only commercial web press in Hawaii and the only one of its kind in the world, is ideal for magazines from tabloid to digest. The full size web makes it possible to accommodate a larger image area, which enables the production of long runs of superior five-color publications and commercial work quickly.
Controlled Quality
Total quality control means monitoring the production process every step of the way. Our quality control inspectors and dedicated personnel in press, bindery, mailing and even shipping make sure that your product meets our highest standards. Our presses pass daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections for maintenance, safety and quality of reproduction. Each press is routinely calibrated. For added quality, our digital prepress technology is calibrated to our presses for optimum reproduction.
Although primarily a publication press, it is quite capable of high-volume commercial products. Today, paper mills are producing a variety of stocks for the web, including some recycled and premium stocks. Innovative designers are exploring the many in-line features, folding configurations and special production capabilities of the web press.
Heatset web printing is suitable for:
- Mid-to-high volume long runs and large size image areas
- Producing large runs of complex, quality, 1 to 5 color jobs economically
- Superior five-color printing on calendars, brochures, tabloids and multi-page publications
Equipment is not the only element needed to produce world-class printing. Our pressmen are among the finest craftsmen in Hawaii. They are assembled in teams and assigned to a specific type of press. Each team has an average of 40 years of experience in printing and is headed by a skilled head pressman. Every pressman is encouraged to take advantage of our continuing internal Hagadone University education and trade skill programs.
